27 FEBRUARY 2020, PASIR GUDANG - Johor Port Authority (JPA), together with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and the Johor Immigration Department, held a briefing session on the Covid-19 outbreak to all port users. Almost 100 participants consisting of port operators, private jetty operators and port users associations have attended the session. The briefing was held at Dewan Nakhoda JPA and was delivered by a representative from the MOH, Dr Nur Sujaihah Hanafi, U48 Medical Officer and Mr Mohd Darwis bin Mashud, Deputy Assistant Director of Immigration Department, Port of Tanjung Pelepas. During this briefing, all port users were given a detailed description of the outbreaks including the spread of viruses, disease symptoms, instructions and procedures. Under the authority's instructions and procedures at the point of entrance, all port users are urged to cooperate and take all precautions to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
