13 July 2020, PASIR GUDANG – The Johor Port Authority (JPA) has implemented corporate social responsibility (CSR) through the LPJ CARES agenda to channel assistance in the form of school disinfection items to prevent/eradicate ‘Covid 19’ to LPJ foster schools around Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Among the goals of this programme is to ensure the safety of students throughout their stay in school while ensuring that safety measures are complied by following the SOP recommendations that have been set. This effort can also help ease the burden of the school in the process of providing equipment and fittings according to the requirements of the SOP of opening school sessions involving high costs.
A total of 14 schools have received assistance in the form of necessities such as face mask supplies, thermometers, handwashing fluids, disinfectants and face shield. Among the schools involved are SK Taman Nusa Damai, SK Taman Pasir Putih, SK Pasir Gudang 3, SK Pasir Putih, SK Cahaya Bahru, SK Tg. Puteri Resort, SMK Taman Nusa Damai & SMK Kota Masai 2.
Due to the concern of LPJ, this program can to some extent help ease the cost of school expenses in providing sanitary necessities while ensuring that students always adopt new norms according to current developments to eliminate the ‘Covid 19’ network.
