26 FEB 2020, JOHOR BAHRU :-  Johor Port Authority (JPA) in collaboration with Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) has implemented corporate social responsibility (CSR) at Rumah Seri Kenangan old folks home in Johor Bahru. The house accommodates a total of 312 senior citizens of various races, namely Malay, Chinese and Indians who require assistance.

As such, JPA and PTP have jointly taken steps to provide essential goods assistance to the management of Rumah Seri Kenangan for the use of the residents. Some of the items donated include kain pelikat and batik, pagoda shirts, trolley bags, baju kurung Kedah, headscarves and adult diapers. It was made to understand that the donation of the goods is to be used for temporary resettlement purposes other than for the use of the residents.

JPA and PTP hope that the donation will ease the burden of the management of Rumah Seri Kenangan in meeting their needs in providing comfort to the elderly.
