You have a personal computer using Microsoft Windows XP operating system? If so, Did you know that your computer is the same as motor vehicles to be serviced from time to time? What you can do to strengthen the performance of your PC with Windows XP?
Tips 01 : Windows XP- Perform maintenance on your hard disk
Select the hard disk defragmentation to be done. Next, click the button Analyse. Wait for a while and a dialog box will appear telling the status of hard disk defragmentation if needed or not. [NOTE: If the capacity of empty space on your hard disk less than 15% from the overall capacity, then display a warning will be issued. Scan DiskProrgram utility that can be used to detect and repair bad sectors on your hard disk. Bad sectors can cause the data stored (save) is damaged or can not be rewritten in addition contribute to decrease the performance of hard disk. Open the My Computer window. Select the hard disk / partition that you want to run Scan Disk and click the right mouse button, select properties.In the Properties dialog box, click the Tools tab. Then, click on the "Check Now". Out another dialog box, and tick 'check' on the two options as in the picture below. Click Start. [NOTE: In certain circumstances, when the hard disk or partition that you want to run the 'Scan Disk' may be used, then scan disk will be placed on the 'schedule' and will be implemented when you restart your computer.]3. Make sure your computer is secure (Antivirus, Antispyware and Firewall)
- Scan the computer with that software at least once in two weeks.
- Update the virus pattern files at least once a week
- Scan diskette or USB storage drive before use
- Make sure the antivirus software and Antispyware is in the status monitoring your system.

Beginning to "Internet Security"
As part of this introduction will describe in simple aspects of the Internet-based security following topics:- Security is not Default

Security is not Default:
This message is a reminder to all PC users, especially to those who manage the server (server) that no operating system (OS) that is safe in the first place (by default). Even they are using UNIX, LINUX who famous in network security features. The most important is, the Os is configured with the correct configuration, instead of the OS is used. Ironically UNIX is famous for its safety aspects and the most OS that been violated by hackers as a platform to test their skills.Analogy of Intrusion:
Invasion on a PC or server is done through several ways termed Hacking, Cracking and Exploits. Such as intrusion is to enter a house that is locked with the numbered Padlock gates, intruders will be doing a few things as follows:
- Monitor the movement of the host entry and exit for a few days before the invasion to get the basic information about the suitability of time trespassing, safety features such as type of house keys that are used, the position of doors, windows and perhaps other holes that can be accessed. Tips 06 : Calculating in Microsoft Word

- Scan your PC as often as possible and please update your antivirus.

Tips 13 : Microsoft Word Tips

Tips 15 : Easiest Way To Change Image Name

To rename the image with the same time, follow these steps:
Select an image to be transferred in its name. Follow the steps below to select more files:- If the image is in a folder, use the Select All command by pressing CTRL + A
- If the image to be selected in successive locations in the same folder, click the first image, press SHIFT and then click the last image, without releasing the SHIFT key. All images are of the order of the first and last image will be selected automatically.
- If you want to select images that are not in order, the press the CTRL key and clicking on the image of choice, you can just send a click on a few images at once without releasing the CTRL key. This technique will allow you to select a different image sequence simultaneously.
- After the image is selected you can make changes in the name of the image at the same time by pressing the right mouse button menu and choose Rename. By simply changing the name of an image in the selection, all selected file name will be changed automatically in accordance with the given name.
- To avoid the equations in the file name, serial number will be automatically added at the end of each file name selected. If the digital camera or mobile facility put a name automatically, you can also use the facility which, in the name of the file will be added when the picture is taken.
Tips 16 : Prevent from typing when "CAPS LOCK" is ON
